While I'm prepping all of my photos for upcoming posts about my trip to Guangzhou China, I thought it'd be a good idea to start doing MOTD (Makeup Of The Days) to prep myself for makeup academy *lets out a giddy squeeeeaaal*.
To tell you the truth, I am quite lazy to put makeup on myself but I loveee to put make up on other people. That's because makeup on myself on a day to day basis is really boring (I work super early in the morning for my part-time job and I'd rather have more sleep).
I like to play with CRAZY makeup and just get really creative so that's why plain and simple makeup every single day of the week can get tiring. On a normal day to day basis, I just make sure my skin is nice and balanced (tinted moisturizer + concealer + blush) and I'd put nothing on my eyes. I just try to make myself look AWAKE and not dead or unapproachable.
Today I thought I'd freshen it up with some bright eyes, long lashes and pouty lips :)
FACE:
1. Clinque: Acne Solutions Liquid Makeup (01 Fresh Alabaster)
2. Bourjois Paris: Blusher (74 Rose Ambre)
3. Urban Decay: De-Slick Mattifying Powder
EYES:
1. Urban Decay: Primer Potion
2. Lise Watier: Duo Shadow & Glitter (Golden Taupe) - Using cream shadow ONLY, not the glitter.
3. NYX: Jumbo Eye Pencil (604 Milk)
4. THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT PART.......! Bare Essentuals: BUXOM LASH (Blackest Black). I swear by this mascara and after my bff introduced this mascara to me 4 - 5 years ago, every single mascara (Including Lancome, Gio Armani, Shu Uemura, Dollywink etc.) I tried thereafter had sucked in comparison. Look at what it does for my flimsy non-existant lashes! However, I'd love to be proven wrong, please tell me what your fav mascara is and I shall test it out to see if it's better than Buxom lashes. It has to curl, lengthen, volumize and separate. ALL of the above :)
LIPS:
1. Lancome: L'absolu Nu Lipstick (302 Voile De Rose)
2. Shu Uemura: Lipgloss (Don't know the # of name, but here's a photo of it --> Photo)
Hope you like the look! :)
